Photography: A Day in the Life of Taylor Weeks In this photography unit, the students set out to take pictures of their life at home as well as school. Some students chose to take pictures of a vacation or a weekend, but I chose to take pictures of my everyday life. I also took took this opportunity to share some of my daily activities with my classmates. I really enjoyed this this because it felt a lot like stop motion animation. Photography Food: Westin Challenge In this photography unit, the students set out to take pictures of food in both color and black and white photos. The challenge is named after Edward Weston, a photographer who took many photos of food in black and white. I took some photos inside and outside of the school using some natural elements such as grass and snow as well as unnatural elements such as wood from the library. I also liked the idea of having the color image highlight the color of the fruit in order to make it fit in with the rest of the images as well as pop out.
